World Day Against Child Labour
Child labour is a horrific reality, and more than 150 million children across the world are trapped in this nightmare every single day. These kids have hopes and dreams, like our own sons and daughters, but they have been robbed of the joys of childhood. Instead they face hazardous work, abusive employers, and little chance for an education. More than one in six children in developing nations are involved in hazardous child labour, and each year more than 1.2 million are trafficked into exploitative work. These kids are precious to Jesus! That’s why we are rescuing them.
In recognition of World Day Against Child Labour, GFA would like to share a free resource kit with you!
No Longer a Slumdog shares about God’s redemptive power that is transforming the lives of children and their families. Included with the book are the ‘Power of the Meek’ DVD – a video story about God’s power and faith in action – and a brochure about what God is doing among the Dalits. We will also include some free book coupons that you can share with your friends and family for each of them to receive their own copy of No Longer a Slumdog! Sharing these coupons is an easy way to help others be a vital part of bringing hope to the downtrodden.
